“Don’t give up. Don’t you quit. You keep walking. You keep trying. There is help and happiness ahead—a lot of it. You keep your chin up. It will be all right in the end. Trust God and believe in good things to come.”

KEEP UP THE PACE! Certain tasks and duties in life can be like a race. This race can become tiring, discouraging, hard and painful. Sometimes the task can seem endless and impossible, but it is my testimony that things DO get better! There IS help and happiness ahead! SO, my friend put one foot in front of the other and keep on going! Look around you at the gorgeous setting! Think of your friends cheering you on and your God who is looking out for you. Think of the great results that you will enjoy in yourself once you have finished the task you set out to do! Think of how great if will feel to say you accomplished what you set out to do! I have been running what seems faster than my own strength, but that’s the great thing about the grace of Christ! It is ENABLING!  “For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do.” (2Nephi 25:23) It is only through Christ we can return to our Creator! It all starts with desire! If we desire to reach that finish line, we are going to keep going! If we desire to meet our goals, the Lord will bless us and strengthen us in our efforts! Don’t allow yourself to become overwhelmed with the task in front of you! Think “what can I do now, in this moment to take one step towards my goal?”

I love the example of Nephi after the Lord instructs him to build a ship. I would respond with “Woah there God, I think you’re off your rocker. No can do.” But Nephi says, “Lord, whither shall I go that I may find ore to molten, that I may make tools to construct the ship after the manner which thou hast shown unto me?” Then the Lord directs him and Nephi acts with incredible faith! As we trust that the Savior will provide a way for us to reach those high goals He has set for us, we will see miracles!

I LOVE sister Rodriguez! She is a hard worker and so fun! I can’t wait for the next 6 weeks together! One of my highlights this week was a lesson on tithing and fast offerings with Jordan and brother Vaughn. The spirit was strong! I have such a love for them! Jordan has such a good, giving heart! I am honored to have the opportunity to share the gospel with him! We were also able to meet Jesse! He is Katie’s son. They are both members of the church, but haven’t attended in years. Jesse is 20. He is open to us coming over and meeting with him and wanting to work towards receiving the priesthood and going to the temple! As he keeps on going, he will get there before he knows it! We will all reach those great goals we have as we continue to press forward!

Think of a dream you want to achieve. You may have fallen down and failed. Failure is a part of the process. If I never fell on my butt while learning to ski as a kid, I would never be able to enjoy the slopes! I don’t continue to wipeout and fail today, I will never progress in my skiing skills! Am I right???

DON’T GIVE UP. Do not give up on your hopes, dreams, visions, goals and desires. You can do it! You will make it! There is help and happiness all around you! I am cheering you on. Your family and friends are cheering you on and your GOD is cheering you on! I love you!
